Dell Inspiron 1525 Ac Adapter Not Recognized?

Lately, I purchased a brand new 9-cell dell inspiron 1525 battery to exchange these faulty 6-cell battery on my small Dell Inspiron 1525. The 9-cell battery works fine and recognizes, but whenever I connect the Dell 65W AC Adapter, it states “blocked in, not charging.” Additionally, it states the dell inspiron 1525 AC Adapter isn’t recognized every time i boot in the computer and states F1 to carry on and F2 or 5 to operate onboard diagnostics which in turn show no problems. I’ve also changed these 65W adapter that included the pc with a brand new one since the old a person’s copper wire that’s put in the charger port broke. Additionally, I’ve both uninstalled and disabled the Microsoft dell inspiron 1525 Adapter and also the Microsoft ACPI-Compliant Control Method Battery.

So, should i re-install the pc or something like that? Customize the dell ac adapter? I’d rather not re-install the pc because I lately installed Home windows Vista SP 2 and also have my music and stuff around the Inspiron (don’t wanna feel the hassle again haha). Basically need to, I suppose I’ll re-install it…

Just help.”

Best Solution : “Often a 9 cell inspiron 1525 battery needs the 90W dell inspiron 1525 charger, not he 65W. What’s happening, would be that the 65W dell pa-12 charger just enough energy to operate laptops, insufficient energy left to charge battery. Hence the “Blocked in, not charging”. Should you switch off laptops overnight, it will replenish battery (gradually) Finally, it may be the charger which was bad – it might have triggered an issue with that old battery to begin with…”

The 90W or 65W may be used on either from the 6cell or 9cell battery optioned Dell’s. However, the primary difference is charge time. The 90w dell pa-10 adapter charges you your battery considerably faster compared to 65w charger.
